According to The Economist Intelligence Unit, the global refrigeration market is set to grow dramatically over the next 10-15 years as the cumulative effects of climate change, urbanization and income growth accelerate.
Given this growing demand, there is a need to increase access to refrigeration without intensify current emission levels, so it is essential to move toward more efficient and climate-friendly cooling. Indeed, the transition to affordable low- or zero-carbon energy is crucial to ensuring that future cooling systems use does not further increase CO2 emissions.
Policymakers, NGOs, and citizens all have a critical role to play in the transition to efficient, climate-friendly refrigeration systems. However, businesses will play an increasingly important role.

For this reason, Industrial Frigo has developed a new line of green chillers with high performance and respect for the environment. The industrial chillers of the new series, in fact, are equipped with refrigerant gases with low global warming potential (GWP) and zero values in terms of ozone depletion potential (ODP). These solutions are therefore particularly eco-friendly and efficient in terms of performance and safety.

New lines of ECO Friendly chillers!
Industrial Frigo presents a new series of eco-friendly chiller units that differ for the environmental impact of the refrigerant gas used.
ECO 1 refrigeration units, loaded with R407C gas, despite having a Global Warming potential of 1,774, have zero ozone depletion potential, guaranteeing excellent results up to 48°C outside air temperature.
ECO 2 chillers, loaded with R134a gas, have zero ozone depletion potential, a Global Warming Potential of 1,430 and a flammability rating of A1 (non-flammable). This is an eco friendly refrigeration system for high performance up to a maximum air temperature of 53° C.
The ECO 3 model is even more performing since, loaded with R513A (XP 10) gas, it a GWP Equal 572, an ozone depletion potential to zero and, like the ECO 1 model, guarantees excellent performance up to 48° C air temperature.
ECO 4 refrigeration units, on the other hand, use R1234ze gas and are distinguished by their highly green characteristics, their GWP value equal to 6 is one of models with less environmental impact of our series, this model guarantees excellent performance up to 53 degrees.
However, it is the ECO 5 refrigeration unit that is the most eco-friendly product in our line. Loaded with R290 (Propane) gas, this model withstands up to 48 degrees air temperature and has a GWP value of 3 and zero ODP, making this model the solution with the least environmental impact.
