Industrial Frigo has taken another important step forward environmental responsibility by updating its new refrigeration systems line with low environmental impact gases. By full compliance to European legislation that regulates and governs the greenhouse gases use, Industrial Frigo is progressively implementing company policies aimed at limiting the negative effects in environmental terms.

The company had already launched a new chillers series in recent months whose refrigerant gases were characterized by a low GWP (Global Warming Potential, the contribution to the greenhouse effect) and zero or minimal ODP values (Ozone Depletion Potential, the ozone depletion potential of a chemical compound). However, the company's research team has been working constantly to find even more virtuous solutions not only in terms of energy efficiency, also from an environmental aspect.

The new line of refrigeration units and industrial chillers include the Industrial Frigo's commitment to offering reliable products with low running costs that are also sustainable. There are 5 gas categories with which the refrigeration units are loaded and they differ in the degree of refrigerant gas environmental impact. ECO 5 units uses a virtuous gas with minimum GWP and ODP values, ECO 1 units uses a gas with a GWP modest value but still in normative and zero ODP.
