The TW-WTA series of water thermoregulation units, suitable for operations at a maximum temperature of +95° C, has been designed for the conditioning of moulds and cylinders/runners in various industrial processes, among which the plastics and rubber casting sector, as well as extrusion and the paper industry.These thermoregulation units are of two main types according to the functions required, and that is: the TW-WTA Series operates under pressure while the TW/D - WTA/DP Series operates under pressure or under vacuum.
Basically, they consist of:
• Heating circuit with armoured electric heaters with a wide exchange surface
• Heaters powered via solid-state relays control (greater efficiency, reliability, less noise and no wear, with respect to counters)
• Cooling circuit with high-efficiency exchange, direct or indirect (D-DP-S-SM)
• Cooling solenoid valve (“V“ module on request)
• Centrifugal electric pump for recirculating the water (peripheral for version “D“ under pressure/vacuum)
• Simultaneous hydraulic pressure-vacuum system (DP version) - patented
• Steel tank
• Painted frame on castors
• Control panel complete with electronic microprocessor to control the temperature with PID regulation for both heating and cooling
• RS485 Serial communication with MODBUS: STANDARD
• Kit with external probe and thermostat (option)
• Fittings available: on-off valves, manifolds for various utility deliveries/return, connection pipes with glass fibre + siliconic rubber insulation and covered by stainless steel braiding.
Each unit can be connected to a cooling system made up of Cooling Units and/or Air Blast Coolers operating in a closed circuit and therefore avoiding water consumption.
